On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of International Seafarers Day 25/06/2010-25/06/2025.
To the children of the sea, the brave people in the: Silent Journey – Steadfast Steps of the Ocean.
Dear silent seafarers!
On the occasion of International Seafarers Day 25/06, I would like to send my deepest gratitude to the resilient people, the silent heroes of the ocean. Although not praised and mentioned much by the press, each safe voyage, each successful shipment bears the mark of your sacrifice, courage and sense of responsibility. You are: The people who connect the world, on ships that overcome rough waves, in the vast ocean, you are the indispensable bridge of global trade. Because more than 90% of the world’s goods are transported by sea, and behind that number are the days away from family, missing loved ones and long nights facing storms and storms at sea. Having to endure harsh weather, you still persevere in your mission of safe shipments across the Five Continents.
Working in a risky environment, you always keep a firm grip on the wheel, ensuring the safety of the ship and goods in all conditions, whether war or epidemic… I hope you always remember and understand that behind each of you is your family and we always follow every voyage, worry about every storm, and wait for rare phone calls. Thank you for choosing a difficult but also extremely noble profession! Thank you for your silent but great contributions to maintaining the stability and development of the Maritime industry in general and each Company in particular. The sea may be fierce, but the hearts of sailors are always resilient.
On this special day, I would like to wish all seafarers around the world:
Always safe and healthy on every voyage.
Encounter many favorable conditions, overcome all challenges.
Happy reunion after every voyage
Be proud that you are contributing to transporting this whole world!
A musician once wrote: He left for a small family, giving this world a great happiness.
Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company always respects and acknowledges the contributions of the Seafarers who have been working on the Company’s fleet throughout the past time.
Sincerely!
