Besides production and business activities, charity programs are also one of the activities that Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company focuses on to help disadvantaged people in society.
Implementing the Party and State’s consistent policy on social security work, recently, representatives of Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company visited and gave 100 gifts to poor households and ethnic minority households in Bau Chinh commune, Chau Duc district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. These gifts are contributed by Party members and the Company staff to promptly encourage, share and help people in difficult circumstances, especially poor people in ethnic minority areas.
On behalf of the locality, Mr. Nguyen That Tam Kha – Chairman of the Commune People’s Committee expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Thang Long Company for supporting the commune in taking care of people’s lives in the area.
Bau Chinh is a particular commune with many ethnic minorities in the province (182 households/800 people, ranking second in Chau Duc district). With this volunteering activity, all TLM members hope to partly help disadvantaged compatriots, thereby spreading the values of love, humanity and actively performing the social responsibility of the company.
The bright smiles and happy eyes of the people at the visit are also the joy and motivation for all TLM employees to strive to work better and more effectively.
We will continue to maintain volunteer activities to help difficult situations in society, try to reach more places and help more people.
