In recent days, due to the impact of the storm and the circulation of storm No. 3 (Yagi), many northern provinces and cities have suffered heavy losses in terms of human lives and property, greatly affecting production and people’s lives. Storm No. 3 is considered the strongest storm in the past 30 years in the East Sea. In recent days, the Party, State and people of the whole country have been thinking about the people who suffered losses and pain and joining hands to share the difficulties with the people affected by storm No. 3.
With the spirit of “mutual love”, “the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves” and the cultural tradition of responsibility and affection of the Oil and Gas workers, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union – Youth Union – Veterans Association of the Oil and Gas Group called on all workers to actively respond to donations with the highest spirit, contributing to reducing difficulties, adding strength to help Oil and Gas workers and people in the Northern provinces quickly return to normal life.
Responding to this meaningful call, on September 10, 2024, the Secretary/Director of the Company – Mr. Phan Cong called on all workers and fleets of Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company to donate to support the people in the localities affected and damaged by storm No. 3 and the circulation after the storm. After 02 days of launching, the Company’s Trade Union Executive Committee initially received and promptly sent to support localities affected by storms and floods with more than 40 million VND.
The donation period will start from September 10, 2024 and will continue to take place at the Company’s office headquarters in both cash and kind.
