On September 10, 2025, at the headquarters of Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company, the 6th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, term 2025–2027 took place.
The Congress is an important event for the Company’s youth to summarize and evaluate the results of activities in the past term, and at the same time set out specific directions, goals and solutions to further promote the pioneering and creative role of youth union members in labor and production, contributing to building the Company to develop more and more sustainably.
The Congress approved documents including the Political Report summarizing and evaluating the results of the Youth Union and youth movement activities for the 2022-2024 term, and at the same time setting out the directions and tasks for the new term 2025-2027 with many new goals, expectations and determination; Report on the Review of the Executive Committee for the 2022-2024 term.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Company for the 2025-2027 term, including 01 Secretary, 01 Deputy Secretary and 3 Executive Committee members. In which, comrade Nguyen Thi Huyen continued to be re-elected as Secretary for the 2025-2027 term. With the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and determination, the Youth Union and youth movement activities entered a new phase, associated with the common development goals of the Company.
Representing the Company’s Party Committee, comrade Phan Cong – Deputy Secretary acknowledged and commended the achievements that the Youth Union had achieved in the past term, and emphasized that in the coming time, Thang Long Maritime’s youth need to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and proactively take on difficult and new tasks; constantly study and improve professional qualifications and skills. In particular, he asked the youth union members to take the lead in applying digital transformation, exploiting artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies to improve labor efficiency, improve processes, increase competitiveness, and build an increasingly modern and professional image of the Company.
The success of the Congress continues to affirm the attention and close guidance of the Company’s Board of Directors, and is also a great source of encouragement for Thang Long Maritime’s youth to constantly strive, practice and contribute.
