Responding to the Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (November 9, 2025) under the direction of the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company launched a wide-ranging propaganda campaign to all officers, employees and crew members working onshore as well as on the Company’s ships.
Vietnam Law Day is an opportunity for each of us to look back and affirm the important role of the law in work and life. With the specific nature of operations in the field of maritime transport, where every stage – from operating the ship, ensuring maritime safety, protecting the environment, to fulfilling international legal obligations – is closely linked to legal regulations and standards, compliance with the law is not only a mandatory requirement but also a key factor in ensuring the safety of people, ships and the reputation of the enterprise.
Through this campaign, the Company hopes to spread the spirit of “Living and working according to the Constitution and the law” to each officer and crew member; encourage each person to proactively learn, study and properly implement the provisions of Vietnamese law as well as international conventions to which Vietnam is a member, such as SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, STCW… Every small but correct action, every precise operation according to the process demonstrates the sense of responsibility and culture of respecting the law of workers in the maritime transport industry.
The Company also calls on units, ships and affiliated departments to integrate the content of legal propaganda into safety meetings, periodic training, and thematic activities. This is an opportunity to share, learn, and remove obstacles in implementing legal regulations, while strengthening the culture of safety, discipline and responsibility in each job position.
Responding to Vietnam Law Day is not only a movement activity but also a commitment of the Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company in building a safe, disciplined and professional working environment. Each officer, employee, and crew member should be a “legal ambassador” – exemplary in action, proactive in compliance, and contribute to making the image of Vietnamese maritime transport workers increasingly professional, modern, responsible and trustworthy on every voyage.
