THANG LONG MARITIME RECEIVES PVT GLORIA VESSEL

On March 19, 2024, Thang Long Maritime Joint Stock Company (Thang Long Maritime) – a member unit of PetroVietnam Transport Joint Stock Corporation (PVTrans) successfully received the handover of the cargo ship. left Handysize – PVT Gloria, bearing IMO number: 958369. This is a bulk cargo ship with a tonnage of 35,697 DWT, built in 2011 in Korea. The ship has good technical conditions, modern and versatile design, fully meeting the strict standards of the maritime industry and major customers around the world.

Receiving the bulk carrier PVT Gloria is part of Thang Long Maritime’s investment plan for the 2021-2025 period, with the orientation of developing a variety of ship types from oil/chemical vessels to bulk carriers to improve transport capacity. loading and rejuvenating the fleet, contributing to increasing revenue and profits, in line with the overall development strategy of PVTrans in general and of Thang Long Maritime in particular.

Immediately upon receiving the ship’s handover at Kakinada port in India, Thang Long Maritime signed a contract with TCT to put into operation the first shipment carrying 30,000 tons of rolled iron from Dhamra to Ho Chi Minh City.
